Bio
Well first and foremost I'm a big big geek. At least according to Jack. (See the bigbiggeek story)

I work fulltime in the IT department of a major bank in Birmingham, Al. Since I'm from the south this means that if your not you'll automatically subtract 10 IQ points when you hear me speak.

I've been working with computers since my Dad got me an Atari 800 way back sometime in the 80s. I haven't stopped computing since, just ask my sweet wife.

After a brief stint in college, I spent a few years in the United States Air Force stationed at Sembach AB Germany. I was a computer operator that lucked into a nice LAN job. It helped me get a nice start in networking.

Since the Air Force I've worked exclusively in IT. I've done a little bit of everything within IT:

  • help desk
  • training,
  • all sorts of servers
  • all kinds of software
  • routers and firewalls

After Al Gore invented the Internet I started dabling with some HTML but I didn't get serious about web design until I was laid off in 2001. I needed an alternative source of income, so I bought a copy of Adobe GoLive and started designing web sites.

I'm on my second version of GoLive and I'm currently working to improve my LiveMotion (Flash) skills.

In the little bit of spare time I have enjoy spending time with my family. I also love watching Auburn Tiger's football with my wife, and then discussing the game at length with my buddy Jack on Monday.
