Its Been a While
Well, its been quite a while since I've updated so I figured I'd drop something in. I'm still playing BF2 and enjoying that very much. I have nearly all of my veteran combat badges. I only lack the anti-tank badge, which requires 20 kills in a round while playing that kit. My only basic badge I need is the knife badge which will be tough since you have to have 7 knife kills in a single round and I don't have 7 knife kills altogether or if I do not many more than that.
I have been enjoying my 30 GB iPod http://www.apple.com/ipod/ipod.html. Lisa has the Nano and she's used it quite a bit too. We both have FM transmitters for the car so we can take our tunes and in my case podcasts along with us.
I just taught a lesson on the book of Ruth for Vacation Bible School preparation and that went pretty well. I enjoyed studying for it. I'd never spent that much time in the book of Ruth and was amazed at how much it ties into the genealogy or Christ and how it ties in with other biblical characters such as Judah and Tamar as well as Rahab and how they provide precedence for Ruth to marry Boaz. I don't think I did that great of job on the actual teaching. It was already a long day and I rushed through it. The discussion at the end went much better.
We've also attempted recording Bro. Lee's message and I also recorded the class I tought. Still need to work out some kinks but definately getting much closer. We need to get a better microphone and I also need to learn the controls on the mixing board that we have a little better.
Well hopefully it won't take me quite so long to update the next time.
